Biography

Kendra began her healthcare career in 2012 as a CNA at a local hospital while pursuing her nursing degree. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 and worked as a registered nurse for over eight years across various patient care settings, including ICU, PCU, and PACU. Early on, she knew she wanted to become a nurse practitioner specializing in Rheumatology or a related field caring for patients with autoimmune conditions. She completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in May 2025.

Her passion for functional medicine is deeply personal. Having lived with autoimmune conditions throughout her adult life, Kendra understands firsthand the frustration of feeling unheard or overlooked and being treated with medications that only manage symptoms rather than address root causes. During her DNP program, she discovered Dr. Washatka’s clinic and immediately knew it was where she wanted to practice as an APRN.

Kendra is dedicated to uncovering root causes, restoring balance, and supporting whole-person wellness. She believes every patient deserves to be truly heard, taken seriously, and cared for with a holistic approach that nurtures mind, body, and overall health.

Kendra looks forward to meeting you and walking alongside you on your path to healing.
