Biography
Amanda Chalmers, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, began her healthcare journey at Tulsa Community College, where she earned both her Associate of Science and Associate Degree in Nursing in 2016. Over the next six years, she gained diverse clinical experience working in the NICU, Stroke Unit, and Pre/Post-Op Surgery.
In 2021, Amanda completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and joined Dr. Washatka’s office as an IV nurse. That same year, she began her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, during which she completed primary care clinical rotations and received mentorship in functional medicine from Dr. Washatka and Jacy Godsey, NP. In 2025, she graduated with her DNP and earned certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Amanda’s approach to care emphasizes building strong, trusting relationships with patients and identifying the root causes of health issues, rather than just treating symptoms.
